The exploration of the dwelling houses of the XVIII-XX centuries in Shaki, carrying out measuring work in the houses and finding out the features of interiors. |

Main scientific achievements of the structural unit: | The aims of the work
consist of investigating of historical formation and developing process of
folk architecture of Shaki, and finding out specific features relevant to
local architectural traditions on this base and generally revealing the lack
of the investigation in the architecture of the dwelling houses in
Azerbaijan. As the result of carried exploration the addresses of 7 various
dwelling houses which are different from one another architecturally and
which need repairing mostly have been determined. Above mentioned
information about this buildings was given to the representatives of UNESCO
who were in Shaki in the July of 2010. Architectural heritage achieved
through the centuries influences positively to the thoughts existing in
construction and gives stimulation to their realizing with its style and
objective estimation. Preparing the theory and history of architecture
scientific recommendation for restoration of historical monuments. Giving
offers for construction of the interior of modern houses relevant to
national colour.
