Main area of activity of the organization: |
Carrying out
researches of the leading technologies in the science intensive fields in the
foreign countries, also of the innovation technologies, which meet the last changes
in the world economy during the globalization process; creating the
information base in that field; studying the priority trends in the
development of the leading countries; watching the development of the
innovation process in Azerbaijan; solving the problems of the implantation of
the new technologies; receiving, registrating, researching and distributing
information documents from the different unpublished sources. |

Main scientific achievements made over the last five years: |
The automatized information bank of the
carried out SRSDW on the basis of collecting of the state registration of the
SRSDW and account documents, the state fund of the accounts of SRI and the
explanatory notes of RCW are created, scientific-technical production is
advertised according to the completed SRSDW, also analytical and statistic
information preparation of the SRSDW for the state governing organs are organized. Some projects of programs about
an innovation are developed, the base of innovative works is made and foreign
bases are addressed also. |

Brief information on the organization’s history: |
The State
Registration Centre was founded on 21 January 1994 by the decree of the
Government of Azerbaijan ¹22. By the decree of the Government of Azerbaijan ¹197 22 august 2008 The State Registration Centre was
given a new name The Centre of Scientific Innovations (CSI) |
