Well-known Azerbaijani scientist, Doctor of philological sciences, Professor Akram Jafar was a tireless researcher of classic East literature and the Middle Ages Azerbaijani poetry.

The Professor Akram Jafar’s family presented a number of his photos, letters with outstanding personalities of his period, a number of manuscripts of his works to ANAS Museum of Azerbaijan Literature. At present, work on the classification of these exhibits is carried out and A.Jafar’s personal fund will be established in the museum recently.

Let’s note that, Mirza Fatali Akhundov’s, Firudin bey Kocharli’s, Jalil Mammadguluzadeh’s, Nariman Narimanov’s, Najaf bey Vezirov’s and others’ private funds also had established in the museum.
