On June 6, 2012 at ANAS Institute of Literature named after Nizami was held round table devoted to discussion of “Literature conversation with Elchin (Yashar’s interview with People's writer Elchin)” book.

Acting Director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Teymur Karimli opened the meeting and noted that, the book was published in high scientific level, and it is a contribution to literature and literary criticism: “This book became a handbook for every specialist in literature”.

Director of “Science” Editorial, Publishing and Printing Center, PhD in philology Shirindil Alishanov reported with lecture on “Time and space boundaries of the conversation with Elchin”. Noting, the high professionalism of the author, Sh.Alishanov told about advantages of the conversation with Elchin. He stated that, Elchin’s ideas about world literature, Azerbaijan literature and his creativity were a model to our literature, and literary criticism, unknown points in Elchin’s creativity were explained for the reader in the interview.

PhD in philology Elnara Akimova, Doctor of philological sciences Sara Osmanli, Doctor of philological sciences, prof. Gazanfar Pashayev, Doctor of philological sciences, prof. Maharram Gasimli, Doctor of philological sciences Tehran Mustafayev and PhD in philology Gurban Bayramov exchanged views on theme and spoke about People's writer Elchin’s service in Azerbaijan literature, main features of his creativity, dignities of the book. They notified that, only interviews and articles covered with important topics can attract the attention of modern readers.

Talking about the book collected his ideas about the literature, People's writer Elchin stated that, literature is tested by freedom of speech, not by totalitarian regime. Writer stressed that, as literary processes begin from reading, followers of Azerbaijani literature must read more books.

Finally, writer expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the meeting for attention and respect.
