Movlana Jelaladdin Rumi’s “Couplet” work was published in Azerbaijani

Director of Art, Language and Literature Institute of ANAS Nakhchivan Branch, corresponding member of ANAS Abulfez Guliyev had published his valuable works “Couplets of morals” and Mesneviye-Sharif” in Azerbaijani in the “Ajami” publishing-house in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

In the first chapter of three-volume work which submitted to broad mass had been used Persian and Turkish publications by means of a comparative-contrasting, and were given comments and explanation of a number of terms and specific names difficult for the modern readers.

Manuscript of the work consisting of 26000 couplets and written by notable classic of Eastern Islamic world contains from 6 notebooks. In this work, which is considered the pearl of the world literature, scientific and ethical ideas on sophism are presented with small but memorable form of stories.

“Couplet” attracts attention like a holy book “Koran’s” interpretation. Thus, Koran signs have been used in 1221 couplets and hadiths in 745 couplets. In his opinion, all the sciences, arts, and are available for to make entities happy. This peculiarity of “couplet” aroused attention in the international level. “Couplet"’s more than hundreds manuscript have been kept in cities such as London Istanbul, Tehran, Bombey, Tabriz, and Munich, found, are known nearly 10 publications. Preference for 18 couplets was written by Movlana his kit-through, the remaining portion he narrated and Husamaddin Chalabi from Uremia had written.

Translating into various world languages and being the valuable pearl of XIII century sophism literature, the publication of the “Couplet” into Azerbaijani language is the bright sample of care and attention to our moral values as well as a worthy gift for literature lovers and mass of readers.
