Relations between ANAS Republican Center of Seismic Service (RCSS) and Japan’s seismologists are expanding. Thus, delegation led by the adviser of Japan’s OYO International Company Masakazu Takahashi visited ANAS RCSS on May 29.

Final discussions on the preparation of “Risk map for the Baku’s seismic microzoning” project held during the meeting. M. Takahashi gave detailed information about the considered work within the project.

Director of ANAS RCSS, Doctor of geological-mineralogical sciences Gurban Yetirmishli made proposals on the last version of the project. Then the sides made a decision to complete work and submit the project to the government of Japan in late August, 2012.
